THE TRAINING PROCESS IS THE MEANS TO COMPETITIVE SUCCESS

Training, training, and more training, seems like a boring and repetitive situation, but without it it’s impossible to achieve success. Those who train more hours, more days, more times, and with better conditions, are closer to success. Always think of Cristiano Ronaldo’s example and try to adapt it to any sport, because in addition to being an excellent athlete, he has a lot of strength and determination to be better every day and this can only be achieved with a lot of training!


SKATING
TRAINING

Figure skating is a sport that requires an athlete, both an active competitor or someone looking increase their figure skating test levels, to develop physical attributes, mental skills, and self discipline in addition to having a strong desire to become a champion!

GYM AND STRENGH TRAINING

Skaters need to have flexibility training for their warm-up and cooling-down activities. Strength training, jumping and muscular power training, aerobic and anaerobic endurance conditioning are advised for all athletes. These training programs should be designed to help enhancing the body posture, carriage, and head, arm, and leg positions while on ice. Training should also help increase stroking speed and power, height of jump, rotation speed of jumps, jump landings, and also improve the cardiovascular condition and body strength of skaters.

OTHER
DISCIPLINES TRAINING

Figure skaters benefit from program of ballet training. This is helpful in making the skaters have the awareness in holding and controlling their bodies while on and off the ice. In ballet, they have the opportunity to understand and know how to use their arms, head and legs in a pleasing and natural manner. There are even specific ballet classes which incorporate Yoga and Pilates in the workouts. This enables skaters to do floor exercises to help them increase their awareness and centering their strength with their artistic and technical needs.


Being active in other sports can benefit ice skaters and can provide crossover skills and self-confidence that will augment their figure skating training by developing their general fitness and health. Before engaging in any program of physical training activities, make sure that a doctor certifies that you are physically fit to reduce the possibility of any adverse effects.


BALANCED
DIET

Eating a balanced diet every day should give you all the nutrients you need to maintain good health. A diet that provides all the essential nutrients in sufficient quantity and in the correct proportions to promote good health.  You need to include fruit, vegetables, starchy foods, dairy and limit your intake of foods and drinks high in fat, salt or sugar. .


HEALTH
CHECK

A regular health check is a crucial requirement for all athletes. A correct evaluation will not only improve their safety, but will also guide them to maximum performance.It will enable the identification of any predisposition to certain types of injury, thereby reducing the risks. In addition to safety, it will be helpful in guiding athletes through the activities they should do in order to achieve maximum performance, including essential aspects, such as nutritional recommendations.
